Job Description
The Principal Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and scaling the company’s core systems. This role sets technical direction, ensures architectural integrity, and partners closely with product and leadership to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of core platform systems and services
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and technical roadmap
- Own system scalability, reliability, security, and performance across environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Leadership teams
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to support growth and compliance needs
- Mentor engineers and elevate overall engineering quality and execution
- Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts

Experience
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience designing and scaling production systems
- Strong expertise in backend development, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with security, data integrity, and compliance-driven systems preferred
- Demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making and mentorship
- Experience: 5+ Years
