The Role
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Marketing Specialist will own and execute the company’s go-to-market marketing strategy across demand generation, product marketing, brand, and partnerships. This role is responsible for building scalable marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, support sales execution, and position ID Clearance as a trusted leader in background checks, verifications, and compliance solutions. The Marketing Director will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Leadership to accelerate growth across SMB and enterprise segments.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to revenue, pipeline, and growth objectives.
- Own demand generation programs across digital, content, lifecycle, paid media, and partnerships to drive qualified inbound and outbound pipeline.
- Lead product marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market launches for new products and features.
- Build and manage the company’s brand presence, ensuring consistent messaging across website, sales collateral, campaigns, and customer communications.

- Partner closely with Sales leadership to enable field execution through campaigns, sales assets, and account-based marketing programs.
- Establish marketing analytics, reporting, and attribution frameworks to measure ROI, conversion rates, and funnel performance.
- Manage external vendors, agencies, and contractors as needed to scale marketing execution efficiently.
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and market segmentation strategy in collaboration with Revenue and Product teams.
- Prepare marketing insights and performance updates for executive leadership and investors.
Skillsets
- Strong B2B SaaS go-to-market expertise, particularly in regulated, compliance-driven, or trust-based markets.
- Data-driven decision maker with a deep understanding of funnel metrics, CAC, pipeline velocity, and revenue attribution.
- Ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling value propositions for multiple buyer personas.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills across written, verbal, and visual formats.
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative leader who builds alignment across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or technology-driven companies.
- Proven success driving pipeline growth and revenue impact in high-growth or early-stage environments.
